The Path Through the Fog

The veil feels thin today.

There’s a presence in the air that doesn’t ask you to see clearly, only to trust. Like walking through a forest where every branch feels like a whisper. The guides are not shouting. They are breathing close. This week is about learning to hear the silence between the signs.

I pulled a single card in meditation this morning: The Moon.

This is a message of psychic depth and emotional shadow. It speaks of illusions and instincts. A time when what’s real cannot be found by logic. It must be felt, trusted, and received in layers. The Moon asks: Can you walk through the fog without knowing what’s ahead? Can you stay soft and continue forward in uncertainty, without acting from fear? Even the smallest step is still progress.

There’s something surfacing in your subconscious this week. A memory. A truth. A decision you’ve delayed. Spirit shows me a vision of a figure standing in the flowing water of a creek, releasing something into the current. You’re being asked to do the same. Surrender what you can no longer carry. It’s taking up space where power should be.

I’m also sensing a message from the spirit of a former version of you, the part of you that tried so hard to be accepted, to be small, to be palatable. That fragment is ready to be integrated, not discarded. You don’t need to reject your old self to step into the new. You need to witness them. Let them speak. They have information.

This pull is from my Gothic Literature Tarot deck and it arrives with many layered messages including archetype and character references. This Moon card is also associated with Heathcliff, who walks this path with us now, a shadow-clad figure shaped by longing, illusion, and unresolved memory. Like him, you may feel yourself pulled toward something wild and half-seen: a wolf on the path, a shadowy home hidden in fog. Do not resist the pull. The Moon does not show you what is real, it shows you what is unclaimed. Let this be a week of reclaiming the parts of yourself you buried to survive.
